Wildlife
Wildlife drawing and painting was the start of it all. It was and continues to be an exciting subject. Growing up enjoying the outdoors and hunting allowed Michael to develop a respect and connection to nature. Many of his works continue to be influenced by nature and wildlife.
The anatomy of an animal as well as its nature is as relevant as studying any subject. The key is developing the ability to get past the immediate subject and explore its depths.
Studying wildlife and nature over the years has paved a way for many opportunities. Michael has donated works to various conservation groups including Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Northern Lights Scouts for fund raising to help support these groups that influenced him at a young age.
